It's funny how short the off-season seems when the Bruins make a deep playoff run. The season hasn't even been over for a week, but we're already so close to the Draft, rookie camp, and the start of free agency.
One sure sign of a new season to come? A preseason schedule, which the Bruins released today.
The schedule:
Monday, September 16 @ New Jersey Devils, 7 PM
Thursday, September 19 @ Philadelphia Flyers, 7 PM
Saturday, September 21 @ Chicago Blackhawks, 8:30 PM
Monday, September 23 vs. Philadelphia Flyers, 7 PM
Wednesday, September 25 vs. New Jersey Devils, 7 PM
Saturday, September 28 vs. Chicago Blackhawks, 3 PM
It's interesting to see the team open the preseason with 3 on the road, then finish with 3 at home, but it may have something to do with the ongoing renovations at TD Garden.
Either way, kind of sad that the Bruins aren't playing in a "weird" location this preseason...just Philly, Chicago, and Jersey. BORING.
Let's get fired up, folks!
