The official update on Zdeno Chara remains the same as yesterday: there is no official update.
However, there was a brief update on Matt Grzelcyk:
#NHLBruins news per Bruce Cassidy:
— Boston Bruins (@NHLBruins) June 5, 2019
Matt Grzelcyk is still in protocol. When he clears he’ll go back in. Doesn’t know if that will be tomorrow or not.

Alright then! The mystery deepens.
At practice (per the team), the Bruins made no changes to their forward lines.
They kept the same trios from Monday night intact, but did practice with 8 defensemen.
Those defense pairs were:
John Moore - Charlie McAvoy
Torey Krug - Brandon Carlo
Steven Kampfer - Connor Clifton
Matt Grzelcyk - Urho Vaakanainen
The intrigue here is that 4th pairing. My guess is that if Grzelcyk is cleared, the Bruins will stick with 6D, 12F.
However, if Grzelcyk can't play, I could see a scenario where Vaakanainen draws in as a 7th defenseman.
In regard to Chara, my guess is that the update we get tomorrow is that he is a game-time decision. If he does indeed have a broken jaw and is going to try to play through it, I'd be surprised if the team divulges those details.
That defense corps may not inspire terror in St. Louis, but who knows? A couple of puck-movers back there may help counteract the Blues forecheck with some quick exits.
We'll see!
