Per a few reports out of up north, the Bruins have kept busy during the Stanley Cup Final: they've reportedly signed 20-year-old prospect Samuel Asselin.
Samuel Asselin headed to the Bruins on an entry-level contract. There was interest from the Canadiens, as reported by Lalancette. https://t.co/boOBjSXwZu

Asselin turns 21 on July 1, and has aged out of the Q. He had a monster season for the Halifax Mooseheads this year, recording 48 goals in 69 regular season games with Acadie-Bathurst and Halifax.
That total was the highest mark in the QMJHL. He recorded 86 regular season points, the 10th-best mark in the league.
He added 9 goals and 8 assists during Halifax's 22-game playoff run as well.
He's on the smaller side (5'10"), but is an interesting project. Q numbers don't always translate to NHL success, but you can never have too many guys who can score.
Plus, there was interest from Montreal, and the Quebec kid chose the Bruins. Gotta love it!
