FOLKS. We made it through the offseason. Congrats to all of you. I’m very proud.

According to the Bruins, training camp officially opens tomorrow, though it doesn’t look like there’s any on-ice activity scheduled.

Practices will kick off on Friday, and then we’re off and running.

Today’s Peter Cehlarik Fact

Peter Cehlarik’s first NHL training camp (not rookie/development camp) was in 2016. One non-roster invitee from that training camp was Peter Mueller, the 8th overall pick from 2006.

Mueller ended up playing more than 50 games for Providence that year, never cracking the NHL roster. That Providence stint was his last North American pro appearance.

Last season, Mueller played for HC Kometa Brno over the in Czech Republic. Brno is approximately a 2 hour 30 minute drive from Zilina, hometown of our man Peter Cehlarik.

Cehlarik and Mueller were both in the first round of cuts that year.
