I’m not going to get super in-depth here because it’s Preseason Game #1, but hey, let’s get some info out there!
The Bruins will kick off their preseason slate tonight at the Prudential Center in scenic Newark, New Jersey, playing against half of the New Jersey Devils.
The Devils, you see, are playing two split-squad games tomorrow night: one at home and one in Montreal. It seems unfair to have the same team play two games at once, but I digress.
Can you watch this game on TV?
No, it doesn’t look like it. According to both team sites, the only “broadcast” info listed is radio info. It does, however, look like the game will be broadcast on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
UPDATE (10:09 AM) - It looks like the Devils will stream this game in the NYC/Newark metro area.
IT'S A (preseason) #NJDEVILS GAME DAY!

Now this doesn't necessarily help you in Boston, but since a stream DOES exist, you'll be able to find it if you're resourceful.
What about the rosters?
The Bruins announced their roster Monday morning. Here it is, straight from their press release:
Forwards: Anton Blidh, Paul Carey, Ryan Fitzgerald, Trent Frederic, Brendan Gaunce, Robert Lantosi, Jakub Lauko, Par Lindholm, Brett Ritchie, Zach Senyshyn, Oskar Steen, Jack Studnicka, Chris Wagner
Defense: Axel Andersson, Chris Breen, Steven Kampfer, Alex Petrovic, Wiley Sherman, Urho Vaakanainen, Jakub Zboril
Goalies: Kyle Keyser, Dan Vladar
Per NJ.com, the Bruins are going to see some of the Devils’ best: Cory Schneider, PK Subban, Jack Hughes, and Nikita Gusev will all be in the New Jersey lineup for the home game. One they won’t see is the former MVP Taylor Hall, who is out on injury.
