Listen, friends. I’d like to think we can level with one another by now. We’ve been through a lot. It’s been a Cehptember of ups and downs.
But I’m afraid I have some bad news. The Bruins are going to have to make a few cuts here and there to get down to a normal-sized roster by Opening Night. That is a fact that we all must face.
However, today, the Bruins Tweeted out both of their practice groupings, the collections of guys who were on the ice for each session.
Peter Cehlarik wasn’t in either of those groups.
Dan Vladar’s name wasn’t in either group, and it was announced today that he was sent to Providence.
I am scared...but Cehptember must march on.
Today’s Peter Cehlarik Fact
Peter Cehlarik took the first penalty of his NHL career in a game in Newark against the New Jersey Devils on November 22, 2017. He was called for slashing midway through the third period.
The Devils didn’t score on the ensuing power play, but did tie the game a few minutes later. The game would go to a shootout, one that Charlie McAvoy ended in the 11th round.
UPDATE (12:03 PM)
Cehlarik = LBI, should be off ice a few days @bruinshockeynow
