The Bruins have broken my heart.

It's a dark day, friends. After a full month of Cehptember joy, the Bruins have chosen to end Cehptember on a sour note: Peter Cehlarik has been placed on waivers.

I know, I know. I feel all of your pain. It's truly a difficult thing to process.

Given the roster uncertainty at this time of year, it's unlikely that a team will claim him. Still, the thought of that happening undoubtedly has ruined your day. Hang in there.

The Bruins should be announcing a few more minor transactions (ones that don't require waivers) today or tomorrow as their roster gets trimmed down, but we're just about there.

Please don't let this news define you. The best way to honor Peter Cehlarik is to go out there and be the best that you can be for a short period of time before being sent somewhere else.
