UPDATE (9:55 PM) - It’s a concussion.
Cassidy said Rask is concussed. “It’s an elbow to the head and they didn’t call it.”

After last night's loss in Philadelphia, you know that the Bruins wanted to get off to a good start tonight in Columbus.
I don't think this is what they had in mind.
Tuukka Rask takes an elbow from Emil Bemstrom to the head.

He heads to the quiet room. Halak in.
Not good. pic.twitter.com/2bY4Xv0Mja
Why yes, that's the Bruins goalie taking a gloved punch right to the side of the head from a Columbus player skating through his crease.
No penalty was assessed to Emil Bemstrom on the play. Nothing about the play looks incidental to me. In fact, it almost looks like he sticks out his fist as he passes through the crease on purpose.
Tuukka Rask left the game, probably to be evaluated for a concussion. he has had issues with concussions in the past, and has also had problems with headaches recently.
Another great example of sterling officiating from the NHL and its referees.
