With Karson Kuhlman up, you know the lines are going to look a little different.
What is a bit unexpected, however, is the absence of David Krejci. Per beat writers who were there, Krejci was on the ice early but not through the end of practice.
Whether that means he's hurt or just took his option (or was excused for whatever reason) remains up be seen.
However, the team shared the probable line combinations, and Krejci was absent, so...do with that what you will.
Here's what they said;
Brad Marchand - Patrice Bergeron - David Pastrnak
Jake DeBrusk - Charlie Coyle - Anders Bjork
Danton Heinen - Lindholm - Kuhlman
Joakim Nordstrom - Sean Kuraly - Chris Wagner
Obviously that could change quite a bit if Krejci is, in fact, going to be playing. If that happens, expect Coyle to go back to 3C and Lindholm to sit.
Things are a bit more settled on defense, with Matt Grzelcyk drawing back in.
Zdeno Chara - Charlie McAvoy
Torey Krug - Brandon Carlo
Grzelcyk - John Moore
Jaroslav Halak will start in net.
As always, these combinations are a bit fluid, stay tuned.
UPDATE: Some clarity on Krejci:
OK, so: #NHLBruins coach Bruce Cassidy said Krejci is dealing with upper body injury, game-time decision tonight. Backes had maintenance day. Kuhlman in, line depends a bit on Krejci status. Brett Ritchie has cleared waivers.
