The wheel of goalies continues!

Dan Vladar got recalled from Providence and all he got was a nice, front-row seat to last night's win!

It was a short stint for Vladar, who was sent back to Providence this morning.

In return, Max Lagace was recalled from Providence on an emergency basis.

The emergency part is a bit odd, as he clearly has to dress. However, there may be a stipulation that if a goalie is on emergency recall and doesn't actually play, it doesn't count against his games-played mark or waiver status or whatever. IT'S A MYSTERY.

The guess here is that Jaroslav Halak will get the start Sunday, so Lagace won't be needed, but he'll be there if called upon.

This year in the AHL, Lagace has a record of 14-6-2 with a 2.49 GAA and .915 save percentage.
