Morning Skate: Another one

Another day, another thing to complain about!

Yesterday, another potential free agent wing target went off the board when former Florida Panther Evgenii Dadonov signed a three-year, $15 million deal with the Ottawa Senators.

If you’re keeping score, that’s four guys on some Bruins fans’ wish lists who have gone to teams in the Atlantic Division:

• Josh Anderson to the Montreal Canadiens
• Taylor Hall to the Buffalo Sabres
• Tyler Toffoli to the Montreal Canadiens
• Dadonov to the Ottawa Senators

It’s safe to say that this isn’t ideal.

All we need now is a guy like Mike Hoffman to re-sign with the Panthers to complete the divisional sweep.

Anyways, Friday is here, and the first full week of free agency will be in the books. At this time last week, many of you were anticipating some big splashes by the Bruins.

Instead, we got a solid signing and some minor moves. Angst is high among the fan base, but as Chris said yesterday, there’s still time.
