Hey kids! Do you like left-hand defenders? I sure do! and so does Boston!
The Bruins announced today that they had signed Matt Grzelcyk to a 4 year deal worth $14.714 million, with an AAV worth $3,678,500. They successfully avoided needing to go to Arbitration, which was scheduled for later in the week.

Gryz’ signing couldn’t have come at a better time, as fans have been spending the better part of the past couple of weeks quite concerned about the B’s left side on defense. While he’s not the be-all, end-all answer to it and fans will almost certainly be looking for another signing, he’s in on very solid money for a player who has been nothing but solid since he’s become a main roster guy.
