We all have feelings one way or another on NHL Network lists, but it’s the offseason, and there’s nothing else to talk about.
So...lists!
The NHL Network released its list of the best wings in the league right now and the Bruins’ David Pastrnak was second on the list, behind Artemi Panarin of the New York Rangers.
It’s a lofty position for Pastrnak, who was named ahead of guys like Nikita Kucherov and Alex Ovechkin.
It’s not exactly a wild placement for Pastrnak, who finished fourth in MVP voting this past season.
I think most people are getting hung up on Pastrnak being placed ahead of Kucherov, but I’m fine with it because Kucherov is a big baby who gets away with being dirty because he scores. But I digress...
The Bruins had another entry on the list as well, with Brad Marchand appearing in sixth place.
Never a bad thing to have two of the Top 10 Wings in the league on the same line, eh?
Here’s the full list:
- Artemi Panarin, New York Rangers
- David Pastrnak, Boston Bruins
- Nikita Kucherov, Tampa Bay Lightning
- Alex Ovechkin, Washington Capitals
- Patrick Kane, Chicago Blackhawks
- Brad Marchand, Boston Bruins
- Mitch Marner, Toronto Maple Leafs
- Mikko Rantanen, Colorado Avalanche
- Jonathan Huberdeau, Florida Panthers
- Mark Stone, Vegas Golden Knights
Now...argue about the list in the comments!
