A hat trick by David Pastrnak capped the Bruins 4-1 victory over the Montreal Canadiens last night.

  • Three observations from the win include a strong performance from the Bruins’ fourth line. Bruins Daily

NHL Standings:

  • The Bruins are atop the Atlantic Division NHL, the Eastern Conference NHL, and the NHL overall. The Capitals have dropped, and now the Lightning are nipping at Boston’s heels in second place. (Standings have been pretty sticky, but links are NOT STATIC) NHL
  • David Pastrnak is the NHL’s top sniper again, Brad Marchand is among the assists leaders, and both are among points leaders. On the netminding side, that overrated bum Tuukka Rask is both the NHL goals against average and save percentage leader- he joins Jaroslav Halak among the leaders in those categories as well as among the leaders shutouts.
