Women's hockey update: Isobel Cup postponed, empty arenas in the NCAA

It’s not looking promising for women's end of season play.

As of the morning of March 12 the NWHL has postponed the Isobel Cup Final indefinitely.

Currently the plan is to reschedule for a later date but when that will be is currently unknown. All tickets already purchased will be honored on the new date but the league is offering fans an option for a refund.

As of the evening of March 11 Northeastern had closed their NCAA Quarterfinal against Princeton scheduled for March 14th to the general public, allowing only: participants, media, essential employees and limited family. With new developments that status is subject to change.
