AHL’s timetable for return looks to be for May, sends players home

There was a rumor for like five minutes that the AHL was calling it’s season for 2019-20, but the actual league came out with a statement that does send it’s talent home...but the good news is that they do expect to return at some point.

So things look to be at least on pace to return, but hockey will have to be put off until May. As said previously, whatever happens to the NHL will not mirror whatever happens to the American, as there’s just too many moving parts and a lot more money invested. STH’s have been told to hang onto their cards and what have you, so later on into this COVID-19 outbreak, we’ll probably get a more concrete schedule.
