Reprise Public Skate: Bruins v. Canadiens ECQF Game #5 and Bruins v. Panthers

When we left off last night, Game #4 had the Bruins rallying behind Michael Ryder’s two goals against his former team to beat the Canadiens 5-4 in overtime, evening the series at two games apiece (postgame wrapup.) Andrew Ference was fined by the league for an, er, equipment malfunction.

Tonight’s reprise game is the original ECQF Game #5 at TD Garden on April 23, 2011. Take a look at the preview and gamethread here. Can the Bruins make it three wins in a row to put a chokehold on Montreal?

Good news! The schedule has been posted for the next round of NESN Bruins Encore games. We pick up again on Monday night for Game #6 back in Montreal, and look ahead to begin the Flyers series on Wednesday evening. Meanwhile, @Dafoomie will run classic games at 7:00PM on Sunday to keep us entertained. He has set games for Tuesday and Wednesday as well, and it looks like they’re set for 7:00PM, but may possibly change to 6:00PM to accomodate the NESN schedule just as he did last week.
