With the NHL slowly moving forward in its phased reopening plan and the state of Massachusetts entering Phase 2 of its own plan this past Monday, it was inevitable that players would begin to trickle in to team facilities.
Today, Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand took advantage of the new guidelines and hit the ice together at Warrior Ice Arena.
The duo skating and practicing together after a long layoff was a sight for sore eyes.

Marchand posted a picture of the pair together on his Instagram account as well.
We’re going to have to work on that social distancing, I guess.
The Bruins also shared a few other photos of today’s skate:

Regardless, it’s nice to see Bergeron and Marchand back on the ice.
Expect to see more players trickle in over the coming weeks, as the Bruins will likely try to make sure small groups have consistent access to the ice in advance of the (hopeful) start of official training camp in a month or so.
