While Game 2 wasn't horrible, it certainly wasn't the Bruins' worst effort.
Still, some guys have adapted well to Bubble Playoffs, and others haven't.
It appears that Bruce Cassidy has noticed.
In his media availability today, Cassidy said he plans on swapping some new faces in for Game 3.
"We’ll be making some changes both at forward and D," he said. "Some of that is to get some energy in the lineup and change the look of our forward group."
David Pastrnak remains a possibility for Game 3, so that's not the change he's referring to.
Given those comments, it's easy to speculate on who he's talking about.
I could see Connor Clifton getting swapped in on defense, with John Moore as a wild card.
Up front, it's a crap shoot. Cassidy could easily shuffle up his 4th line, but I'm not sure how much impact that would have.
Nick Ritchie is an easy target too, as he hasn't exactly lit it up thus far in Toronto. Karson Kuhlman also didn't do a ton to cement a spot in the lineup in the event that Pastrnak is still out.
So...we've got committed changes up front and on D. Who ya got?
(Also, Cassidy said he anticipates Tuukka Rask starting Game 3...sorry to the anti-Rask crowd.)
