Know Your Enemy:

  • The Flyers’ leader in goals and points is Travis Konecny, who had 61 points, 24 of whom were goals, in 66 games.
  • Sean Couturier, according to the numbers, is probably going to be stapled to Bergeron all night. He’s an absolute possession monster, and has proven it time and time again this year. He finished the year with 59 points.
  • If only by way of default, Carter Hart is the Flyers saving grace in net, the heir of Rextall’s throne. He had a .911% in 43 games played.

Game Preview:

So! After an absolutely butt-ugly exhibition game, who’s ready for one of these hockey games to count again!

...wait where are you going-

The Bruins are now on the clock to regain #1st overall in the eastern conference, and their opponent tonight, the Flyers, are ready to go. They had a strong game against Pittsburgh in their exhibition contest, Sean Couturier looks ready to rock, and Carter Hart looks like a million bucks.

But that’s in the past. The Round robin begins here. There are no points, only pride, and the gods honest hope that they do not ever have to look the Toronto Maple Leafs in the eyes again. They’ve had all the time in the world to prepare. They just need to go out and execute it.

Go Bruins. Let’s do this.
