Game Preview:
A 1-0 lead in any series is a good start, but given how truncated this series’ schedule is, it could be an all-important buffer to anything that happens over the next 48 hours. From the onset, it’s clear the Lightning and Bruins don’t like each other at all, and the refs aren’t especially interested in keeping discipline that doesn’t make you scratch your head. That’s not ideal, but it is the way things are right now. Game 2 and 3 are back-to-backs, meaning that everything that we know about this one game old series so far is going to be magnified by less than 24 hours rest. Something dumb is gonna happen in Game 3. I can feel it deep in the pit of my soul.
So anyway! Let’s make this game a big win to make it harder for that Game 3 to be extra bad! Will Boston continue their strong momentum? Tune in and find out!
