No one got hurt, and it worked out OK in Game 1, so...why change a thing?
Bruce Cassidy is electing to keep his Game 1 lineup intact for tonight’s Game 2, with no changes in personnel anticipated.
Your forward lines:
Brad Marchand - Patrice Bergeron - David Pastrnak
Jake DeBrusk - David Krejci - Ondrej Kase
Nick Ritchie - Charlie Coyle - Anders Bjork
Joakim Nordstrom - Sean Kuraly - Chris Wagner
On defense:
Zdeno Chara - Charlie McAvoy
Torey Krug - Brandon Carlo
Matt Grzeclyk - Connor Clifton
Jaroslav Halak will be in net.
For Tampa, they’ll be missing a pretty significant piece:
#tblightning Jon Cooper said Ryan McDonagh won't play in Game 2
— Joe Smith (@JoeSmithTB) August 25, 2020
Per Smith, McDonagh has averaged 26 minutes of ice time in the playoffs, and skated around 8 minutes against the Bergeron line in Game 1.
Smith speculates that either Braydon Coburn or Luke Schenn will replace McDonagh.
