Morning Skate: Middle of the road

We’re playing the same game as yesterday!

The Islanders vs. Lightning game isn’t over yet. Hopefully it was an exciting finish! We either have a Stars vs. Lightning Final or a Game 6. Either way, good times.

We’re a little under a month from the beginning of free agency. Per CapFriendly, the Bruins are projected to have around $14.4 million in cap space to play with.

At the NHL level, the Bruins have six players with expiring deals: Jake DeBrusk (RFA), Joakim Nordstrom (UFA), Matt Grzelcyk (RFA), Torey Krug (UFA), Kevan Miller (UFA) and Zdeno Chara (UFA).

There are a number of organizational depth guys who need new deals too, but we can save those for another day.

So...take those five guys and give your best predictions for who’s leaving and who’s staying, and at what price.
