Happy Tuesday! Hope you had a good long weekend.

Since we last Morning Skate’d, the league’s conference finalists have been set.

It’s the Tampa Bay Lightning vs. the New York Islanders in the East, and the Dallas Stars vs. the Vegas Golden Knights in the West.

As I put this together, Dallas is up 1-0 in its series, and the Lightning and Islanders are in the middle of Game 1.

If you’re a Bruins fan, you’re kind of pulling for a Western Conference team, right? No one wants to see Tampa win anything, and an Islanders win will just resurrect the always wonderful Barzal takes.

With former Bruin Anton Khudobin carrying the load for the Stars, they could be a Bruins rooting interest. Regardless, just don’t pull for the Lightning.

Labor Day NHL playoffs. What a time to be alive.

Today’s highlight

Friendly reminder that Anton Khudobin rules.
