Just like Jakub Lauko not too long ago, defenseman prospect Jakub Zboril has been placed on-loan to his hometown Extraliga club of HC Kometa Brno for the upcoming 2020-21 season.
The Boston Bruins have loaned defenceman Jakub Zbořil to HC Kometa Brno (ELH) until the start of NHL Training Camp.

The news is hardly surprising, as the AHL’s RTP process has been glacial in regards to whether or not their 2020-21 season is going to be happening at all, and still has a mountain of issues to work out before anything can be set in stone.
Meanwhile, overseas, where the pandemic has been taken infinitely more seriously, plenty of leagues are preparing to open back up, and plenty of European clubs need talented players.
Kometa Brno placed 6th last year in Extraliga play, and still has a week before the Czech Cup, an impromptu tournament testing league play, is over.
Zboril and Lauko are far from the only players who will end up returning to overseas teams as the year goes on. Very little has been made public about the AHL’s RTP concerns, especially with the Conference Finals going on, and therefore, in order to get their prospects ice time, teams have already begun loaning their European young’uns en masse in order to further their development while waiting for the 2020-21 NHL season to kick back in sometime in...Decemberish:
