Well folks, we got that first day out of the way!
Yesterday saw the Bruins gather as a group for the first time since the summer, and it was filled with just about what you’d expect from training camp: weird lines, weird defense pairings, “this guy looks great,” etc.
It was good to see both Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak in the building as well, even if the latter only appeared in street clothes.

Marchand also mentioned that the hernia that caused the surgery he had this off-season has been bugging him for more than two years.
Does this mean we’ll see an even better Brad Marchand this season, or was the hernia the source of all of his power????
Time will tell.
The other bit of news yesterday was that the Providence Bruins will be the Marlboro Bruins this season, which is strange to consider but is a necessary step given the COVID times.
What’s on tap for today?
Today’s highlight
There was plenty of talk about Jack Studnicka today. Remember that time he scored a goal with his face?
Today’s discussion topic
You can see the Reverse Retros in the flesh in that video above. Does it change your opinion of them?
