Monday! A new week is here, and for the Bruins, this weekend featured the perfect start to the season.

It was a good 3-1 win for the Bruins on Saturday, with plenty of positives: Jeremy Swayman looked good, Jake DeBrusk started his bounce-back season with a game-winning goal, the new lines looked good...all smiles on Causeway.

Of course, now we’re in another weird mini doldrums, with the Bruins off until Wednesday for whatever reason.

Nothing like starting the season what seems like a week after everyone else, then waiting another four days to play again. Still, play the schedule you’re given, right?

Former Bruins captain Leo Boivin passed away at the age of 90 over the weekend; the Hall-of-Fame defenseman was an All Star for the Bruins three times.

Boivin was just 5’ 8”, which makes his career pretty remarkable when you consider he played during the rough-and-tumble hockey days of the 1960s.

Anyways, what’s on tap for the week?
