Welcome back folks. After a wacky COVID season last year all of the women’s hockey teams in Boston will be returning to action. So far we only have three that have played games but in the coming weeks the other two will be on the ice.
Boston Pride (0-0-0) Standings: 1st (0 Points behind)
- Last Week: No Games
- Next Week: No Games
The Pride will be our last team to return to action when they open next month
Boston College (5-0-0, 3-0-0-0 HEA) SBN Poll: 7 (+3) HEA: T-2nd (2 Points behind)
- Last week: W 2-1 v New Hampshire (10/15), W 3-2 @ New Hampshire (10/16)
- Coming Week: v Maine (10/23)
The Eagles finally didn’t have a 2-1 result when they wrapped up the weekend in New Hampshire, instead they had to mount a furious comeback from 2-0 down to remain perfect.
Boston University (3-0-2, 3-0-2-0 HEA) SBN Poll: 12 (-1) HEA: 1st (0 Points behind)
- Last week: T 4-4 OT (1-2 SOL) v Merrimack (10/15)
- Coming Week: @ RPI (10/22), @ Union (10/23)
After a signature victory over Northeastern last weekend the Terriers fell completely flat against bottom of the table Merrimack where they had to fight just to get a point, before falling in the shootout.
Harvard University (0-0-0, 0-0-0 ECAC, 0-0-0 Ivy) SBN Poll: NR ECAC: T-2nd (6 Points behind) Ivy: T-1st (0 Points behind)
- Last week: No Games
- Coming Week: @ Dartmouth (10/23), v St. Anselm (10/23)
The Crimson are finally returning to action as the Ivies begin their delayed season.
Northeastern University (4-2-0, 3-2-0-0 HEA) SBN Poll: 4 (-1) HEA: T-2nd (2 Points behind)
- Last week: W 5-0 @ St. Anselm (10/13), W 3-0 @ Maine (10/16)
- Coming Week: v Holy Cross (10/24)
Northeastern seems like they are a little dysfunctional, at least in regard to the enormous amount of talent on their roster. After a catastrophically bad weekend last week they rebounded with a pair of wins over bad teams, though they were not rewarded in the polls.
Record This Week: 4-0-1
