Just the Facts:
The Time: 7pm EST
The Place: TD Garden, Boston, MA
Place to Watch: NESN
Place to Listen: 98.5 The Sports Hub
Know Your Enemy:
- After beating most of the AHL Bruins in a 3-2 game, NYR got stomped out 7-1 against the Devils last night. Surely this will provoke nothing but normal, thought-provoking discussion over at Blueshirt Banter.
Game Notes:
So after making Martin Jones look like a fantastic pickup for Philly, the B’s aim for a chance at revenge against the Rangers tonight on NESN’s first broadcast of the season, of which they will be carrying the rest of pre-season. Also, as Angelina reported, tonight’s game is probably going to involve a lot of the regulars getting their laps in, including whomever may or may not have shown some real promise this preseason, though the real test for the tweeners is on Monday.
That’s not to say the Rangers aren’t going to be heading into this one at full bore either; they got flat-out embarrassed by the Devils yesterday and will be looking for some real fight that they swore up and down they got this offseason. They have a mere 11 players to cut left; most of whom are defensemen and maybe junior-bound depth forwards. After that boondoggle of a performance on friday night, they’re gonna be looking for anything to impress the Girard Gallant.
Will the Bruins even the preseason series against New York? Tune on in and find out!
