Happy Monday, folks.
Hopefully you had a good weekend, your football team won, all that good stuff.
Your hockey team won — twice, actually.
The B’s beat Buffalo on Friday night and then capped the weekend with a 4-3 win over the previously unbeaten San Jose Sharks yesterday.
It was pretty encouraging to see the Bruins score three goals in the first, and also to “hold on” late.
You never really want to see a three-goal lead nearly evaporate, but the team was able to clamp down in the final minutes. Good practice parking the bus, so to speak.
Also encouraging: another goal for Jake DeBrusk. We all know that getting DeBrusk back on track is key to the Bruins solving their secondary/tertiary scoring issues, so to have him get two already is a good sign.
It took DeBrusk until Game #18 to score his second goal last season.
Now, let’s see if he can keep it up.
Today’s discussion topic
Have you been to a game at the Garden this season? Any input on the new entry requirements/screening procedures?
