The Boston Bruins are set to face off against the New York Islanders tonight.
While everything looks the same up front from Sunday’s game, as Bruce Cassidy is projected to roll out the same forward lines, defensive pairings are slightly altered as Jakub Zboril is good to go for the game.
Zboril is back in the lineup after missing the last two games with an upper-body injury sustained during the team’s last meeting against the Islanders on February 13.
He’ll be paired with Brandon Carlo and Urho Vaakanainen will slide up to play with Charlie McAvoy to adjust for his return.
Although Matt Grzlecyk skated this morning, he will remain sidelined for tonight’s game.
Bruce Cassidy also confirmed after today’s morning skate that Jaroslav Halak will start in net.
Lines:
Brad Marchand - Patrice Bergeron - David Pastrnak
Nick Ritchie - Charlie Coyle - Craig Smith
Anders Bjork - Jack Studnicka - Jake DeBrusk
Trent Frederic - Sean Kuraly - Chris Wagner
Defensive pairings:
Vaakanainen - McAvoy
Zboril - Carlo
John Moore - Connor Clifton
Halak gets the start.
