2021 has all but ensured that we will be thinking about the pandemic for however long it takes people to get the point, so it shouldn’t surprise you that the New Jersey Devils have only continued to be more of a pitri dish than usual, and have influenced Boston’s schedule once again, this time postponing the Devils game intended to be played on the 15th of this month:

Thankfully, the two teams Boston will be facing this week appear to have avoided COVID for the most part, and will be playing. It does mean however that after Saturday, there will be another long wait. And given that the 15th was to be a double header with the Devils again, there’s no guarantee whether or not that team will be safe to play once it’s all over.
We wish all affected players and organization members the best and a full recovery.
