The Boston Bruins are finally playing the Buffalo Sabres tonight!
Although it seemed like the universe was trying to interfere yet again this morning for the game not to happen, alas here we are, for the first of eight meetings between the two.
Both teams are good to go after further testing and contact tracing came back okay this afternoon. The teams had earlier canceled pregame skates due to COVID protocols.
Lines update: Jarred Tinordi is out tonight with an upper-body injury. Jack Ahcan will make his NHL debut, taking Tinordi’s place on the third defensive pairing alongside Steven Kampfer. Sean Kuraly was placed on the COVID protocols list, the Bruins announced. Greg McKegg will sub in on the fourth line for him. Jaroslav Halak gets the start in net, with Daniel Vladar backing him up. The rest of the lines and defensive pairings will remain the same from Tuesday night.
