The Boston Bruins will now play past the initial regular season end date to make up for postponed games during March. Their season will end on the road against the Washington Capitals on May 11.

The NHL announced the schedule changes which affect four upcoming Bs games.

Two April games have swapped opponents and sites and the season extends two extra days in May. The two games postponed March 20 and March 23 have also been rescheduled. There’s a lot that’s been revised so here are the details.

The Bs head to Buffalo on April 20 to make up for the first COVID postponement against the Buffalo Sabres. Originally the Bruins were supposed to be home against the Capitals on this day, but that game against Washington will now take place on April 11 at the TD Garden.

The Bruins were scheduled to take on the Capitals on April 11 on the road, (now they see each other in Boston that day), but the latest revised scheduling has that game ending the season on May 11.

The Bruins will face the New York Islanders in their last regular season home game on May 10. This game was part of the two games postponed due to COVID protocols.

So here is the new schedule!

  • Bruins home game vs. Capitals on April 11 at 7 pm
  • Bruins at Sabres on April 20 at 7 pm
  • Bruins home game vs. Islanders on May 10 at 7 pm
  • Bruins at Capitals on May 11 at 7 pm
