The Boston Bruins face off against the Washington Capitals tonight and we will likely see the return of David Krejci and Matt Grzelcyk in the lineup. Grzelcyk has not played since Feb. 10 due to a lower-body injury. Krejci has missed the last four games.
Both skated this morning and although it seems they will be good to go, a decision will be made after warm-ups, Bruce Cassidy said.
Jarred Tinordi will also make his Bruins debut tonight. He’ll start off with Connor Clifton, but depending how he adjusts, he could be moved around during the game, Cassidy said. Cassidy also emphasized a lot depends if Grzelcyk is good to go at game time and how the pairings might shuffle out accordingly.
Up front, Chris Wagner is back tonight on the fourth line and Jack Studnicka will get another opportunity at center with Wagner and Sean Kuraly on his wings. Charlie Coyle slides down to center Trent Frederic and Craig Smith.
