Tom Wilson is at it again, this time with a cheapshot on Brandon Carlo

I don’t mean to alarm you, but we’re going to start with some breaking news: Tom Wilson is still a cheapshot artist!

Yes, that’s Reformed Man Who Has Cleaned Up His Act hitting Brandon Carlo pretty squarely in the head!

Carlo left the game and didn’t return. Wilson, who is Definitely A Changed Man, was not penalized on the play.

I think he wasn’t penalized because the referees understand that He Has Cleaned Up His Act.

Shortly thereafter, Wilson was called to fisticuffs by Jarred Tinordi...

He later was challenged by Trent Frederic as well:

It’s worth noting that the referees essentially asked for this barrage of staged fights by declining to issue a penalty on the original hit.

What more can you say? Another cheap hit from a guy who’s made a career out of hit.

Hopefully Carlo isn’t as shaken up as badly as he looked, but it appears he at least needed some tests/observation after the game.
