It’s Tuukka Time again!
The Boston Bruins face the New York Islanders tonight at the TD Garden and will see the return of Tuukka Rask between the pipes.
Rask last played March 25 for one period, which was against the Islanders on home ice, and has since missed the last 11 games. His last full game was March 7. Two of his four losses have been to the Islanders this season.
Kevan Miller was supposed to play tonight, but will be out as he woke up with an issue unrelated to his knee. Jakub Zboril will sub in. Bruce Cassidy said they still have a decision to make whether it will be Steven Kampfer or Jarred Tinordi to round out the last defensive pairing.
Up front, lines remain unchanged from Tuesday. Although Trent Frederic skated yesterday, he’ll wait at least another game before trying to get back in the lineup.
Lines:
Brad Marchand - Patrice Bergeron - David Pastrnak
Taylor Hall - David Krejci - Craig Smith
Nick Ritchie - Charlie Coyle - Jake DeBrusk
Sean Kuraly - Curtis Lazar - Chris Wagner
Defensive pairings:
Jeremy Lauzon - Charlie McAvoy
Mike Reilly - Connor Clifton
Zboril - Kampfer/Tinordi
