The Boston Bruins are back at it tonight for their second game in two night against the New York Islanders and Bruce Cassidy will roll the same lines and defensive pairings.
Lines looked the best they have in a while last night so it’s no surprise they wouldn’t be broken up for this game. The B’s second line came together last night for three points, while Patrice Bergeron’s line combined for four points. Keep it rolling.
The only change, however, comes in net as Jeremy Swayman will get the start. Dan Vladar will serve as back-up. Cassidy said Rask felt good, but out of an abundance of caution to not reaggravate anything, Rask will not dress tonight. He’s expected back between the pipes on Sunday.
Kevan Miller is also now day-to-day with an injury and the team will reassess things tomorrow with him. Matt Grzelcyk has started skating, but is obviously not ready for tonight.
Lines:
Brad Marchand - Bergeron - David Pastrnak
Taylor Hall - David Krejci - Craig Smith
Nick Ritchie - Charlie Coyle - Jake DeBrusk
Sean Kuraly - Curtis Lazar - Chris Wagner
Defensive pairings:
Jeremy Lauzon - Charlie McAvoy
Mike Reilly - Connor Clifton
Jakub Zboril - Steven Kampfer
Swayman will start
