The Boston Bruins are back at it this afternoon against the Washington Capitals and the lineup will remain unchanged from Friday night.
The lines and defensive pairings have started to gel with the additions of Taylor Hall, Curtis Lazar and Mike Reilly to the roster. David Krejci has found support on his left wing and now the second line looks like a second line. So Bruce Cassidy will continue to roll out the same lineup.
Tuukka Rask will man the pipes, starting his second game this week after returning from injury. He made 22 saves in his return on Thursday against the New York Islanders. He was given the second game of the back-to-back off as to make sure he wouldn’t reaggravate the injury.
UPDATE: Jarred Tinordi will sub in for Jakub Zboril. He’s out with a non-COVID related illness, per the Bruins.
Here’s how the lineup is projected to look:
Lines:
Brad Marchand - Patrice Bergeron - David Pastrnak
Hall - Krejci - Craig Smith
Nick Ritchie - Charlie Coyle - Jake DeBrusk
Sean Kuraly - Curtis Lazar - Chris Wagner
Defensive pairings
Jeremy Lauzon - Charlie McAvoy
Reilly - Connor Clifton
Tinordi - Steven Kampfer
