With Jaroslav Halak and Tuukka Rask on the shelf and Dan Vladar playing last night, it's Jeremy Swayman's turn!
The former University of Maine standout will make his NHL debut tonight against the Flyers, capping a pretty rapid rise through the Bruins' system.
Swayman is 8-1-0 with Providence so far this season, posting a GAA of 1.89 and a save percentage of .933.
The Anchorage, Alaska native was playing in Sioux Falls just four years ago; now, he'll be playing on hockey's brightest stage.
Swayman wore #1 in warm-ups last night, so it stands to reason he'll be wearing that again tonight.
The Bruins selected Swayman in the fourth round of the 2017 Draft, 111th overall.
He'll be the third member of that year's draft class to play for the Bruins, along with Urho Vaakanainen (first round) and Jack Studnicka (second round).
Good luck, kid!
