There’s a whole bunch of uncertainty surrounding the Bruins right now.
Isn’t mystery great?!?!?
The Bruins don’t know who they’re playing in the next round. They don’t know where their next game will be. They don’t know when their next game will be.
MYSTERY.
However, I’m really just trying to tie this all together before getting to what made me choose the headline: our (former) man Zdeno Chara.
Chara spoke to the media on what was break-up day for the Capitals yesterday, and sounded an uncertain note about his future.
From NESN:
“As far as myself and my future, I’m going to take a few days to talk to my family and make decisions after.”
Sure, he’s not a Bruin anymore, but there’s not much else to talk about.
I can’t help but think that Chara will want one final go-round, especially given that (hopefully) society will continue to get back to normal and he may not have to be separate from his family all season again.
Anyways, not much new in BruinsLand.
The B’s return to practice today, so we may get some updates on guys like Kevan Miller and Jeremy Lauzon based on how much each participates in practice.
Other than that, we’re all waiting on the results of Islanders-Penguins Game 6 tonight.
What’s on tap for today?
