Folks, I don’t mean to alarm you, but we are headed into the last weekend of the regular season (for the Bruins, at least).
This weird, wild season started way back in January when vaccines were scarce and hockey was secondary; now, I got an email from Foxwoods yesterday saying they were offering vaccine appointments.
Weird, wild times.
Anyways, the Bruins took care of the “please, let us go home” New York Rangers last night, and in doing so, may have pushed themselves closer to a first-round match-up with the Washington Capitals.
Why? The New York Islanders lost in regulation to the New Jersey Devils.
As a result, the B’s are now three points clear on the Islanders, with a game in hand. They’re tied in games played with the Capitals, who will play tomorrow night.
Math is fun!
What’s on tap for the weekend?
Today’s highlight
He scored a gift last night, so let’s look at Brandon Carlo’s first NHL goal!
Today’s discussion topic
Give me your best guess for where the Bruins finish the regular season.
