Folks, welcome to the Monday-est Tuesday of them all!
The Bruins made sure Monday evening lasted as long as possible with their OT loss in Game 2, evening the series at a game apiece headed to Long Island.
Hindsight is 20/20, so with perfect vision, maybe Jeremy Lauzon doesn’t try to make a D-to-D pass in the dying minutes of overtime in a playoff game.
You can understand Lauzon wanting to make a play to up the pressure, but...yeah. Take the safe play in OT. Dump it in and regroup.
If you’re a pessimist, the Bruins looked as bad tonight as they have at any point in these playoffs, the second period in particular.
If you’re an optimist, the Islanders got two goals off of unfortunate bounces, one of which was compounded by a bad penalty call on Brandon Carlo.
Hey, at least we get almost three full days to think it all over! Just what we need...
Today’s highlight
It was a late night, let’s just vibe out to Portugal.
Today’s discussion topic
