Several outlets have recently confirmed that depth forward Anton Blidh has been given a one year two-way contract, worth $750,000 against the cap:

The former 6th round pick of 2013 has been a dependable depth guy for the Bruins organization for about five years now, having spent most of it as a Providence Bruin, and only occasionally getting a call-up here or there. This year, Blidh’s annual cup of coffee was his longest yet, playing 10 games, and scoring a goal in that time, his first since 2016, and man what a goal that ended up being.

You can’t even script luck that good. Good lord.
Blidh will likely be a hand for preseason, and then head to Providence to help shepard some of the younger guys and provide valuable depth for them as a long-time vet.
Congrats to another year of Blidher! I hope his next trip to Boston is just as fruitful as last time!
