See, next season is right around the corner!
The Bruins released their 2021 preseason schedule this afternoon, and the first game will be September 26, a little more than two months away.
The B's will play the Washington Capitals, Philadelphia Flyers, and New York Rangers this preseason, getting their fill of Metropolitan Division opponents.
Here's the full schedule:
Sunday, September 26 at Washington - 5 PM
Tuesday, September 28 at New York - 7 PM
Thursday, September 30 vs. Philadelphia - 7 PM
Saturday, October 2 vs. New York - 7 PM
Monday, October 4 at Philadelphia - 7 PM
Wednesday, October 6 vs. Washington - 7 PM
No word yet on ticketing, broadcasts, etc. but I'd imagine most, if not all, will be broadcast in some fashion.
Last preseason, the games were usually available on radio, with some TV broadcasts sprinkled in too.
Given the date of the last preseason game, it seems a safe bet that the season opener will fall sometime around the weekend of October 9-10.
Mark your calendars!
