In an interest of fairness, a BC player was then balanced out by a BU player. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
Ty Gallagher is a 6’0 right-handed defender who has the distinction of being one of the most trigger happy in the entire USNDTP, and he’ll be joining Boston University as a freshman this year. He had a productive year as part of the USDP, getting 27 points in 43 games this year with the USDP, and 12 points in 25 with the USHL version of the national development program

Shaun Richardson from FC Hockey had this to say about him:
Gallagher is a defenseman known for having a high-end offensive game in combination with a sound defensive presence.
A lot of people seem to be high on this guy, because he was not supposed to fall this far in the draft. Many believe he has some real interesting tools that could translate to a prosperous game if he just manages to put it together.
And we get to see him try down in Allston. Welcome Ty to the Boston Bruins! And we’d like to thank you for reading our draft coverage this year! Stick around, we’ll have more to show you about this year’s class very soon!
