Well folks, at this point, your guess is as good as mine as to what the Bruins are up to, because they've added another depth forward!

Foligno is a hard-nosed player who has experienced declining production over the last several seasons, though he's dealt with some significant injuries and off-ice issues during that time too:
Nick Foligno on TSN says that his daughter's life was saved at Boston Children's Hospital, and that had part to do with his decision to sign with the Bruins.

Here was the story on that. https://t.co/hMg2HCvg4L
Primarily a left wing, Foligno has played center at times in the past as well.
He had plenty of suitors out there, but ultimately chose Boston:
Nick Foligno on TSN: I just think it was the right fit. ... You just kind of follow your gut, and talking with Patrice and Don Sweeney, it felt like the place I was going to have the most impact."

Where that impact will be remains to be seen. The Bruins are set at 1LW and 2LW.
Given the other depth players they signed today, it's hard to picture where he'll fit.
Possibly 3LW if DeBrusk is dealt? Maybe on the fourth line?
Unclear. It's not that Foligno is a bad player, it's more that the B's seem to have signed a whole bunch of depth guys today without having a whole bunch of lineup spots.
This, of course, increases the likelihood of a trade of some kind (DeBrusk + something for a defenseman?), but who can say for sure?
Either way, welcome to Boston! I'm sure they'll find a spot for you somewhere.
