Morning Skate: One week

Folks, I don’t mean to alarm you, but we are officially one week away from the Bruins returning to action!

Kind of.

As you may know, the Bruins will kick off their slate of games in Buffalo’s rookie tournament a week from today, followed by games on Saturday and Sunday.

It might not be pro-level action, but hey: it’s something!

You’ve got another mini milestone to look forward to this weekend as well, as the B’s will kick off preseason action two weeks from Sunday.

So to recap:

• Rookie tournament a week from today.
• Preseason two weeks from Sunday.

Before you know it, Morning Skates will be replaced by previews and Public Skates.

Until then, we wait.

Frankly, there’s not a ton else happening Bruins-wise right now, so I guess we’ll all have to be patient.
