Folks, I know I have said this already this summer but I’ll say it again: I think this should be the last week of the summer where we might have a slight lack of hockey content to talk about.
You already know that the prospect tournament in Buffalo is looming at the end of the week, but there’s something else that starts today: captain’s practices!
Late last week, the Bruins sent out details for this week’s captain’s practices, of which there will be three:
- Today, with the time TBD
- Friday, September 17, with the time TBD
- Monday, September 20, with the time TBD
Yes, that’s a lot of “TBD,” but each of these practices (held at Warrior Arena) will be open to the media as well, so we should get some footage of actual Bruins playing actual hockey!
Good times.
As an aside, the Bruins call these “captains’ practices,” which I guess means they’re held by the captain and the alternates; I always thought they were “captain’s practices,” held by the captain.
We can argue those semantics for the rest of the week.
What’s on tap for today?
