We wrap up this past weekend’s action.

Things are getting worse for our college teams, but the pro team is slowly picking up steam in their build up.

Boston College (8-6-1,8-2-1-1 HEA) USAT Poll: 14 (+1) HEA: 2nd (2 Points Behind)

  • Last week: W 5-3 v Boston University (11/17)
  • Coming Week: v Northeastern (11/25)

The only team to get a win in the past week and it was their rivalry meeting with BU. This Saturday they will head to Gloucester to play an extra game against Northeastern in what has become a very winnable meeting.

Boston University (5-6-1, 4-5-0-2 HEA) USAT Poll: NR HEA: 9th (15 Points behind)

  • Last week: L 3-5 @ Boston College (11/17), L 1-2 @ Providence (11/18)
  • Coming Week: v Robert Morris (11/24), v Minnesota State (11/26)

The only team to play two games and they lost them both. The Terriers are wallowing at the bottom of a very weak HEA table. They head to Nashville for an intriguing pair of non-conference meetings.

Harvard University (1-8-1, 0-8-1-1 ECAC, 0-4-1 Ivy) USAT Poll: NR (-) ECAC: 12th (15.5 Points Behind) Ivy: 6th (4 Games Behind)

  • Last week: No Games
  • Coming Week: v Minnesota (11/24), v St. Thomas (11/25)

A week off was probably what the Crimson needed before they head to our nation’s capital for a pair of WCHA meetings. Honestly they will likely not even put up a fight against the Gophers but Mankato and Harvard are tight in the bottom third of the PWR table so it should be a good matchup.

Northeastern University (8-8-0, 4-6-0-1 HEA) USAT Poll: NR (-) HEA: 6th (12 Points Behind)

  • Last week: L 2-3 @ Vermont (11/21)
  • Coming Week: v Boston College (11/25), v Providence (11/28)

The Huskies finally scored more goals but their defense had some lapses giving away three points win Vermont to a UVM team that was struggling a bit. Things will not be much easier as they take on BC in a neutral site game.

Boston PWHL (INSERT NAME HERE) (0-0-0) Standings: 1st (-)

  • Last Week: NA
  • Next Week: NA

Practices have started and the team is looking good. A top line of Knight/Mueller/ Rattray seems to be forming and they were looking good together this week. More information will be coming out win the next week or so according to the league so hopefully we will know where and when they will be playing officially.
